RULES
 

The Art Show is open to anyone attending the convention.

  • You first must get a ticket for the convention

  • Come to the Art Show room

  • The Art Show staff will assist you in registering for the Art Show

  • Enjoy Yourself!

     ● Artist check out will begin at 5 pm Sunday
     ● If you need to check out prior to 5pm  talk to the Art Show Staff
     ● Artist can not check out immediately after bidding ends
     ● No Artist check out between 3pm to 4pm, if you must leave, check out
        prior to 3pm.
     ●Any Art with a bid on it will not be paid to artist prior to 5pm Sunday

Art Show registration fees

  • $5.00 Minimum for 1/2 a 4ft x 4ft display panel
  • $2.00 for each additional 1/2 panel
  • $5.00 Minimum for table space
        

Art Show Schedule

  • Art Show and Sale starts 6pm to 9pm Friday.

  • Art Show Registration begins at 4:30pm Friday

  • Art is accepted throughout the convention

  • Art Show display panel are available on a first come first serve basis

  • Art Show hours are the same as the Dealers and Activities rooms

  • Art Show bidding ends at 3pm Sunday

  • Artist will be paid in full at the end of the convention

  • Artist must pick up artwork Sunday by 5pm

Selling and Displaying Your Art

  • Artist do not have to sell their art, you may just display your work

  • Artist determine the sale price

  • Starfest receives 10% of the sale price

  • Art can be sold at a QUICK SALE price, this price someone can purchase the art work, at that price, at any time during the show

  • Artist may put a MINIMUM BID on their work, The high bid at the end of the convention gets the art for that price

Information for Artist

  • If your art needs to be hung make sure you have any equipment needed, wire, hooks, string

  • Art show has hooks for the display panels but a limited amount of hanging or framing supplies, this needs to be done before you get to the Art Show

  • Larger artwork, 3ft x 4ft or larger, should have its own easel or stand

  • Artist must pickup their art we do not mail any art left at the convention

REGISTRATION FORMS AND BID SHEETS ARE AVAILABLE TO FILL OUT  BEFORE THE CONVENTION BUT REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE AT THE CONVENTION.

DO NOT SEND, E-MAIL OR FAX ANY FORMS BRING THEM TO THE ART SHOW
